Web19 lug 2024 · I wanted to pose this question about 35" tires vs 37" tires on a JLRU for a daily driver. In the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, unless you are driving 70-90 mph on the freeways, you WILL get run over. I would do lift and tires and drive it for a season, then do what you think is needed one or 2 steps at a time after that. One caveat, there is no getting around a reinforced tailgate or carrier of some sort if you go 35 or larger IMO.
