WebJan 23, 2016 · Posted January 20. Wanting to find out if we can use WiFi calling while at sea on Princess without incurring additional charges ($$$). Here are the caveats; iPhone 12. AT&T is the home carrier for the phone. This is for WiFi Calling (voice, not data). Airplane mode on phone is activated (Cell service is off). WiFi on phone is turned on. WebWi-Fi Calling. Charges. Calls & texts to / from US numbers. No charges. Calls & texts to other countries from the US. You're charged as per your international long distance calling plan. If you don't have one, you're charged pay-as-you-go rates. Calls & texts when you're outside the US. Calling back to the US is free.
