You have to admit, that’s a strange story! After all, one of God’s Ten Commandments was that His people should not make any graven images. WebJesus later parallels himself to the bronze serpent on a pole (John 3:14). Just as the serpent was lifted up on the pole, Jesus would be lifted up on a cross.
